Are CSI (Miami, New York) tv episodes reruns?

Malaybalayan is a big fan of Grissom, Horatio, Mac of the CSI fame. Not a week passes by that Wednesday is not made "sacred" in our household. Lately however, the CSI episodes are reruns.

Who is going to answer our query? Are they all reruns? And for how long? Malaybalayan hopes this will end soon.

Whenever a CSI episode shows the intricacy that goes with lab work, the audience cannot but hope the same fervor is given to a murder scene. How many times are we witnesses to policemen actually holding a gun or any object found in a crime scene with no gloves on? They move objects without any thought of its significance in the solution of the problem at hand.
