bands, rock music, the world of the young singers, dancers

Sometimes I find myself reminiscing the things I engaged in when I was younger. This becomes heightened when I found myself in Atrium of Lim Ketkai. They called the contest of college bands sound skool. I happened to be there because my children were there. The program went on, rock music, dancing, singing while I had to remain intact amidst what I now find - like noise -. Yet, I have come to accept the reality of things that the young have their say for their time has come.

So, fifties plus more colleagues, we can learn from this scenario. We must if we have to remain relevant to our grown children's lives. Somehow, come to think of it, the bands energize us; their rock music transports us to a time when we swayed and stomped our feet. The young singers and dancers force us to move faster and go with the rhythm.

This Saturday is another weekend that brought me and my children to a meeting point - time of togetherness however short it was.
