Martial Law "excesses" - Executive branch should be held accountable; another joint session must be called anytime

Senator Joker Arroyo always makes me proud why Filipinos are great if they decide to be so. He expressed our fear that like any power, excesses are bound to occur. SecretaryAgnes Devenadera, being a woman Secretary of Justice, makes me proud of my sexuality - Keep up the good work Ma'am!

For us who have lived more than half a century, we know too easily how excesses can take its form. In fact there are moments in our lives when all we can do is keep quiet because the excesses of one tyrant are too much to bear but the safety of our loved ones remain top priority. Filipinos always say: "In God's own time, everything becomes clearer and His justice will be swift."

To this day, I am haunted by this feeling of not doing my best. There are excesses indeed that we are aware we do ourselves and this is one reason why we are not very hard on the excesses of others. The only difference is that these tyrants are in power and we are not. What if we were in their shoes? It is not impossible to think we can do worse.

So let us all bow our heads and ask forgiveness for everyone's excesses. We are still here on earth you know. Judgment is God's t erritory.
