This time, Malaybalayan availed of Fanny's expert hands for her haircolor/haircut
Something caught my attention while writing this blog: Dec. 1 episode of Biggest Loser-Asia. The blue team and the Red team were doing their workout. The trainer of the Red Team is a lady but most of the members find her bossy while the trainer of the blue team, a man, is immediately liked by the group because of his positive strategy: One observation: Ruby Rodriguez of Eat Bulaga fame in GMA was not part of any team. At this point, the teacher in Malaybalayan is touched by this scenario of varying management techniques and hopes to do more of what the blue team trainer has done so far. Still, am open to what the red team trainer will do to meet her team
So. back to my short vacation in Davao City Philippines and M says she will go back again on December 20.In the meantime, go to Fanny's beauty parlor in Crooked-Ponciano Sts. Malaybalayan had her hair colored and had a haircut at 250 pesos!
By the way, it was in Gaisano Bajada where we decided to view New Moon. We decided to pay extra: 100 pesos per person as we have to sit on leather reclining twin chairs. Whatever the right description is, let it be said, our expectation to feel relaxed and feel contented was farthest from our experience. The film was either good only for a certain group or the ads were overly "hyped" but amidst the conducive "sofa" treatment and delicious "space burger and medium-sized cheese popcorn with soda festive "baon", New Moon failed us. We were groaning with boredom and if not for all the expenses-we would have left the theatre 15 minutes after it began. We still gave it chance but up to the last scene which after all was a hint for a part 3 or part 4, it was a waste of money, time and peace of mind and body. New Moon? New Disaster perhaps? While it may have earned, it may not do so again if many of us who felt the same way would decide to really decide and act on it.
Notwithstanding what was shared all in the spirit of expressing one's blogspot "gut" let us travel more and see the bigger world out there.
