While waiting for Jason Ivler to be strong enough to face all the charges against him, his mother Marlene Aguilar Ivler-Pollard is doing the rounds defending her son: that Jason is a quiet boy; he wanted the NBI to kill him; he was just set up by the bodyguard of the family; that she loves her son very much. She would entertain interiews anywhere she could have one up to The Buzz, a Sunday tv program for show business.
At a time when white sugar has reached P52 - P60.00, it is bittersweet to meet a mother who represents a group of mothers who loves their children to destruction. While we feel for her as a mother myself, she has to pause and find out in her heart acceptance of the possibility that her son has hurt others. She may continue to love her son but instead of calling the Clintons and the whole United States of America to defend her son who is an american, she should spend more time praying. She was proud of the many books she wrote and even use this as proof of her intelligence and one of these is, "Warriors of Heaven" - so now become a warrior who reflects.
Mothers out there, we have to join hands in praying for the safety and protection of all our children. Let us pray harder that we love our children the way God loves us and not love them to destruction.
