Burj Khalifa Dubai is 168 stories, Taipei, Taiwan is 101 while Macau Tower is 60 plus levels. Malaybalayan was fortunate enough to go up Macau Tower. In the elevator in fact, it was difficult to look at the number where we were heading because your insides would react to the tingling feeling of being "in heaven". Also because, we just ate in their revolving restaurant which as the description implied, revolved while we ate. By the time it was almost 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. when the "eat all you can" session would end, the restaurant has also almost completed its "revolution".
Do you know Hongkong and the Philippines have the same time cycle?
Back to the world's buildings which tower, Malaybalay does not have much to offer in terms of skycrapers! This is not to say Malaybalayans have not been to one or more. We know for a fact many from Malaybalay left for New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and other places. Some have really saved much and came back to Malaybalay and built sort of their own "tall buildings" while others decided to go on saving. We can never tell what the future is in store for them. Just as we do not close the door to the possibility we too might be leaving for New York someday! Any possible sponsors? Are you reading this Bebe?
After having said the aforementioned, it is without hesitation Malaybalayan says: It is still good
to come home to Malaybalay where our loved ones are. There is no place like home." We hasten to add, tall buildings or no tall building at all!!!
