Hi visitors! It's time to reconnect . . .

Like anything in life, your friend-blogger who is a blogger who blogs at fifty plus, hopes to reconnect after her hiatus . . .

So welcome once again as Malaybalayan has gained enough strength to let go of the negative vibes and accept the positive air that is just waiting, like your visit to this blogspot!

This does not discount the most recent pang of pain when Tennis Guru and Mindanaoan left for Singapore. However as a mom, pain is part of life worth taking in if it means greener and bountiful opportunities for those you love.

"Today is the first day of the rest of your life" says some experts. In a way, Malaybalayan agrees for indeed every moment is an opportune time to reconnect. What could be more fitting than to come up with a blog like this to reconnect with you fellow bloggers? Agree? Disagree?

So let us begin the journey one step at a time and expect Malaybalayan to rise from her slumber and meet you in blogosphere, raring to share her nuggets of wisdom regarding anything and everything.

Spratlys issue? Good to hear US Ambassador,Harry Thomas, that our ally will stand beside and with us. Still, the glaring issue at hand is glaring as ever: like "David" against "Goliath" whether in terms of land area, population, military might and power in all its glory. If there is one ace Filipinos have, it is the never ceasing reliance to God, the ever powerful yet loving God, who after all, holds everything in His hands.

For now, let us be light . . . Let us focus only on this moment. Let us close our eyes. Inhale and exhale. Be aware of your immediate surroundings. Be seated. Let your feet stay flat on the floor.  Be aware of the fresh air of life which enters your head. Follow the positive vibes as it continues to fill your throat, your lungs, your shoulders, your stomach, your thighs, your legs, your feet. Allow the good vibes to catalyze the bad vibes such that the remaining bad vibes if it persists will be released with enough power to be gone. Thank God for the newness that now envelops us and face the newness of the moment.

See you very soon!
