Today I sent off my son to his new job destination . . .

How many blogs have been written to express the joy and pain of sending off one's children to their choice of job destination? You can say a number but in my case, regardless how many, every parent would agree every parting is as painful as it comes. And to think that these children are already adults! Perhaps this is typically a filipino reaction? We gathered that other cultures prefer their children to leave their homes as early as eighteen! But again we gathered it is not because the parents want them out but that the reality of life is such that they have to do their share in making it in the world.

Still this blogger is a filipino and really agrees that the pain of sending off children to their job destinations always breaks one's hearts. So today as I sent off my son by seeing to it he reached the bus terminal, made sure he was comfortably seated ahhh . . . my tears were just around the corner.

Elderly blue: Life indeed is blue in the sense that parting is a reality. It seems in fact that without parting from each other is a disguise for from it you treasure the moments when you were together.

Elderly blow: Life teaches you the ambivalence of real living: after parting, you look forward to the day when time allows you to each other again and as a family rejoice at the reunion. Life seems to be a series of reunions until that time when we are with the Maker who alone keeps us together for always in eternity and in happiness.

So like what ads say: moms and dads make our lives memorable because of their love; parting makes our time worth the while because seeing each other doubles the happiness that makes life sweeter.

to all sons and daughters, we are just here to pray for your safety and success in all the undertakings you decide to engage in. Shalom!!!
