It is not an isolated case why persons are being jailed and sooner or later judged to be put to death row. . .In this particular situation, we pinpoint the drug mules. A filipino will soon be executed because he was caught carrying enough drug to be sentenced to death. Whatever the reason, the elderly cannot help but ask why this is happening. Certainly a person does not want to do a dangerous act but when the offer is so difficult to refuse notwithstanding the financial problem that is the root of all this, even to become a drug mule is enough to accept "blood money". Yet once caught, all the promises are down the drain for instead of money it is imprisonment and now death by execution.
How about the family of the person who will not only suffer from shame but from the pain of losing a loved no matter what deed was done? For us the elderly who have seen much if not enough of the cruelty of life, we feel for them. We can only offer our prayers for all concerned. We can only pray harder that those who have similar plans to think hard enough and pray for guidance to do what is right.
Elderly blue: We do not only have pushers but "bad people who dress up like lambs" you are left nodding because of their expertise to make even the most dangerous appealing and worth forgetting all the principles you stand for.
Elderly blow: Every time you say no to what is not good and what is not right you become more your person. Every time you run away from these "demons" and evildoers you give the good a chance to win.
China has already refused the request for commutation - from death to life sentence. We know that if it is man's law, it depends on man. If it were God's Law and God sees our "heart" even before we can explain why you have done the terrible thing, then even the worst criminal has a chance.
This season of Christmas, let us give Christ a chance!
