Elderly blues are experiences not only by the elderly but sometimes they are more painful for the elderly.
During graduation rites for example, when you see a graduate who marches to the stage and there is only a substitute guardian, you cannot help but feel pain in behalf of the young person. When a honor pupil's name is called out and all you see is a mother or a father but not a complete pair to out on a ribbon you feel the lack in the supposed to be happy event. Others say the father is working abroad to earn more so the mother has to become father and mother in the meantime.
Elderly blows belong to the other side of the deal. When the graduate has all smiles on his/her face because the family is complete. In one instance, even the newly-born was brought to the occasion because the mother is nursing and nursing comes anytime as the mom says. When the honor pupil's name is called and the father and mother come up the stage and proudly put the medal on the neck of the achiever, everyone can feel the joy.
In general then, any commencement exercise or celebration of life has blues and blows which basically stems from the presence or absence of the loved one around the celebrator. Let us ponder on these fellow parents.
