It is without a doubt an accepted fact that once you are a parent you become an elderly at least in parenting but in truth this parent will always remain a life learner. Or am I just talking from my end?
So many realizations dawned on me after parenting four children: one girl to a lady and three boys to men. Now it is no longer this elderly who tells them what is life but the children turn adults who have the deepest thoughts that blow this elderly away. It is very easy to cry when you help out solve family problems sometimes caused by their parent-elderly. The way they handle the problems however difficult leave the parent awed and contented with the thought that each of the kids can really live very productive lives on their own.
Fellow elderly and senior citizens have you experienced this dawning? If you have not yet, then take this from your fellow sojourner. You have been warned. Just taking it lightly that is, let us smile and let it be that we are up to the last breath, life learners.
