Watching Drop Zone, Zip line and Tennis Championship tell me I am a senior citizen and an elderly, weary bones

A television set if cabled presents you the whole world at the tip of your fingers.

Today it showed me how zip line experience is beyond my league and now they have a modified thrill for the young bones, drop zone. My daughter says 130 feet and still remains sane and straight after the grueling session. Why young people like to do this just to get the thrill is now no longer within my capability to understand. My children have experienced it and they are urging me to try at least the zip line, the shortest kind. My response of course is one of horror for not only will my dentures fall, I might swallow it.

Then there is the tennis championship game between Andy Murray and Novak Djocovic. I was told it has been seven hours now and the game has not yet ended. Can you imagine the rigor and the stamina that the game demands from every player. No wonder my favorite Roger Federer lost to Murray although only in this game. For us win or lose, Federer is the winner no matter what.

So weary bones we the senior citizens and elderly have which we can only accept as a reality and smile. We had the time of our lives when what we now miss we once did with gusto. Sail on young people it is your time and we can give in to life's  message, that we have to move on.
