A Wordof Praise to the Commission on Human Rights

Massacre here, police brutality there, accidents that leave the simple folk unattended, not compensated, what else is next? At least amidst this uncertainty, one thing emerged certain: the Commission on Human Rights, through its Commissioner, Lila de Lima, is doing their job. We cannot help but praise CHR. Please go on for the common tao has no one to protect him.

There are subjects in school that inform the students of their rights, one of which is Peace Education. Hopefully, the learners will share their learnings to their loved ones, neighbors and friends. However, it is always welcome news to know that there is an agency that really functions and fights for everyone's rights.

Here in Malaybalay, we have yet to know what the Commission is doing. We will give them the benefit of the doubt.

face book here i come . . .

That I would be able to  register in Face Book is "beyond my wildest dreams" but with a very good mentor, my daughter, Ayeng, nothing is beyond reach. Perhaps, friendster and twitter are in the offing.

This idea of conquering cyberspace is still a long ways but now I have a glimpse of what's out there - the world "in your fingertips" so to speak. My question: "how's life fifty plus more later" is fast becoming question no more. A person who wants to make the most of life should keep attuned - blog, twit, register in facebook and friendster and surf . . .surf . . . surf.

I seem to stay longer behind my laptop and I don't know why.(?) Suffice it to say I find these twists challenging and mind- bugging. So, face book I have come and sooner rather than later I will "twit" with Wolf Blitzer and before long, publish my photos in friendster.  Let us see . . .
