The times are really and truly beset by financial constraints. You ask anybody and you get the same immediate nodding of heads. While frustrating, filipinos do not find this scenario unique precisely because finances keep coming up as the perennial problem. In fact, we become more creative with the way we respond to life's challenges. In the case of Christmas, most filipinos say: Our most important wish is good health for every member of the family and that we are together. Pancit, some loaves of bread and homemade juice are enough to eat for a special event, so all other recipes are additional blessings.
Having said the aforementioned, Malaybalayan sincerely greets you, my beloved followers now and in the future, friends, colleagues and the whole of mankind Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!; in Visayan: Maayong Pasko ug Bulahang Bag-ong Tuig!; in Filipino: Maligayang P asko at Manigong Bagong Taon!
