Earthquake New Zealand
ChristChurch, New Zealand, intensity 6.3 earthquake.
Victim, all bloodied and horrified were shown on tv. The viewers had goose pimples looking at it or perhaps Malaybalayan was sure she did.
At 10 a.m. in North Luzon, the earthquake was also felt. Pagasa said it was intensity 4.
Almost all of us have experienced the fear in our hearts when earthquakes come. All of us stay rooted or run about anywhere where we feel a little safe. There are moments when we feel hopeless and lost and bow our heads or look up to God for salvation.
Scoop: Col. Gadhafi callls protesters in Libya "drug takers" and "drunks".
Feedback: We may not agree but for the sake of sanity, we are saddened that a leader of a country considers this perspective. It would be interesting to know what the "drug takers" and "drunks" have to say. Certainly they would be surprised that they are labelled protesters when they are in this situation precisely because they are passive about life so they escape from responsibilities by taking drugs and alcohol. They "float" through life's painful tests every person has to hurdle.
Back to the earthquake scenario: There is something we can learn from all these travails; one of which is to come to terms with the unknown. There has to be a way to give way to the inevitable and the time to face head-on some kind of assessment or evaluation where one is if death comes.
To fellow bloggers, let us include in our prayers our brothers/sisters in New Zealand - and Col. Gadhafi.
