Is the world coming to some end?

If you stay long enough in front of cable tv you put yourself in a situation where whether you like or not you see the panorama of the world before you. Being in this scenario you cannot help but become reactive or proactive as the events all over the world will scare you or challenge you to ask questions. Blogs at Fifty plus asks: Is the world coming to some end?

CNN informed us through its breaking news - with almost everyone doing the usual routine- that Japan was hit by an earthquake with 8.9 magnitude. Fukushima was hit the hardest. Days passed and all we could do was pray. Many countries responded more proactively for they sent troops to help in the recovery of victims. Others sent food upon hearing that food and water supply  is becoming more scarce everyday. Presently, the estimated number of people declared dead reached 4,314. Then the Nuclear fears add to the already gigantic problem.Daichi Nuclear plants - three in all - have been confirmed as having problems to contain meltdown from happening. Before, the mere mention of the word: nuclear - is enough to think of "Heroshima" or radiation. Then to top all  these is the weather which announced the coming of snow season.International Energy Association plans to visit Japan overnight to see for themselves the real condition.

Then we should not forget what is happening in Libya. Protesters  are now being shot by the soldiers and the conflict is becoming more difficult to handle for there is no dialogue being facilitated between the pro and anti Gadhafi.. "Gadhafi closes in on Benghazi "reports CNN. Air strikes kill the civilians. United Nations has come in and discussions are ripe for a "no fly zone" resolution.

Similar situation is happening in Bahrain.  Security forces attack anti-government protesters was reported by CNN.

All the aforementioned may not comprise the world but the way the world is viewed now, what happens to one country is sure to impact the whole world.

Let us go back to the original question then: Is the world coming to some end? Blogs at Fifty says yes. The world is bound to give us more signs that unless miracles happen, we may find ourselves on bended knees. At  least we can still take comfort in the fact that the end is qualified as "some end" for only the Creator knows exactly when THE END comes.
