How do we help each other cope or find meaning with everything that is happening?

Yes, how do we help each other cope or find meaning with everything that is happening? For those with families, this is a good opportunity to talk more deeply about the feeling of each one. Consider the best and worst scenarios. Others have already begun by texting others about praying for the safety of our world.

This is also religiously timely because we just began the season of Lent. With God, we believe, everything always becomes a faith response. Even the most painful is a way of joining him in his cross and someday joining him in the Resurrection.

Another way of putting things in perspective is to take a deeper look at the way the world is letting us live. There are so many temptations that only the strong willed can say no to so many. The ways of the world do not jibe with the ways of God. While creation has been here for thousands of years, it may not stay for many more thousands.

How then do we really cope with all the worst events that seem to haunt man all over the world: Earthquake in New Zealand, Tsunami in Japan, Leadership crisis in Libya, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, graft andnace in Mexico and other Latin countries, poverty everywhere, immorality in society, graft and corruption in the Philippines, hunger in Bangladesh, Aids in Africa, Malaria in Madagascar, Drug Menace in Mexico and other Latin countries . . . We can never cope for the list is only the beginning. We cannot cope if man remains indifferent and remain unbelievers of the God who has always taught us to take care of the world but not to live for it but through it, offer the world back to the Creator and in His Kingdom, live happily ever after.
