Right in our living rooms or offices, we became witnesses of tsunami that hit Japan courtesy of Breaking News. Before the news hits our awareness, everyone gets hit deep in our consciences and we begin asking why all these calamities are going on.
For us in the Philippines, warnings have been issued to various areas which are most likely going to experience tsunami of some kind. This tells us that we are in the same world and as such, what happens in Japan hits all other countries. This tells us that this one earth has had too much of man's indifference to the destruction done to nature that with a bang and without much notice, tsunami, 60 meter high, strikes!
CNN continues to show the experiences of some victims who were able to record their harrowing experiences which leave the tv viewers tongue-tied. Even more horrifying is the "day after" scenarios that now the concerns are about Nuclear safety, the "tremendous" damage all over Japan.
Back to the safety of our homes, back to the consciences of every concern citizen of this world. What can we do to help? What can I do to help?
