Press Conference of Defense Team of Chief Justice Corona shocks this senior citizen . . .

With so many shocking events that shock us daily, the press conference of the Defense Panel of Chief Justice Renato C. Corona is another shocking turn of events and definitely this senior citizen is shocked herself.

The main announcement: The Executive Secretary "Paquito "Jojo" Ochoa has begun calling the Senator - Judges to defy the order of the Supreme Court not to allow the opening of the dollar accounts of the Chief Justice. An amount of 100 million pesos per Senator-Judge may be released this week to "facilitate" the easy approval of some sort. Remember, once you join the bandwagon, those interested to run as senators will expect support from the Administration.

I could also sense that the media are not "doing their jobs very credibly". One of the defense panelists said: the media men are asking like senator-judges. Think about this media people.

For us senior citizens who have lived 60 years and above, nothing much shocks us anymore but when the destiny of the country where you live might be at stake, the future of every Filipino is at stake, my children and relatives included. So this press conference is indeed shocking!
