The most recent advisory states: FREE 50 minutes worth of calls to Globe/TN valid for 1 day by simply loading a total of P320 from March 7-20 . . .
Comment/Query: One must be a busy bee yo use 60 minutes in 1 day! For us senior citizens, the minutes can be less than 50 minutes for as long as it can be availed of more than 1 day! Globe, please give back some corporate service by extending free calls to 3 days or more if YOU REALLY WANT TO SERVE OR GIVE BACK.
Another advisory: You may now enjoy 40 texts + 20 mins of calls valid for the next 24 hours. . . Register daily until March 4. This is a free advisory.
Comment/Query: 40 texts, 20 minutes of calls for 24 hours (meaning 1 day). For us senior citizens and my experience could vouch for this, we could hardly send 10 texts nor call for more than 20 minutes in one day's time yet the next advisory comes along telling us, THE OFFER HAS EXPIRED. Globe, please analyze your so-called rewards, are they really rewards or just another way of "double-edged" offer?
My Rewards My Globe: You have 77.50 points as of 3/6/12. Redeem Rewards now. Txt ITEMS to 4438 to check rewards . . .No advisories? Reply STOP. From No name (4438).
Comment/Query: So this senior citizen texted and chose GCOMBO50 because it is worth 60+ pts. The reply came immediately: Sorry your request cannot be processed because either you used invalid "reward choice" (forgot the exact words coz I deleted it due to irritation!) or the offer has been "discontinued". This senior citizen wanted to call back and talk to a person NOT A NUMBER but you just have to shrug with disbelief how to go about it. To make sure I texted again, that I wrote theexact letters/number and that why indicate it as a choice under ITEMS when this is no longer being served. SILENCE . Of coutse this senior citizen wanted to change the item to a higher one but the next offer demands more than 100 pts.! Whatever is the offer then, what with the reprimand given to Globe and Smart that they should not charge so much and that those charged before should be returned to the consumers, this is one avenue where they can tell the consumers they truly care and are SOMETIMES interested to TRULY SERVE NOT JUST PROFIT.
Many other advisories really get to your nerves. Remember there are millions and millions who text. 1 million texters in few minutes all over the country and all over the world is safely 1 million cash. How much more if there are thousand and millions in few minutes more?
Globe (Smart and other text providers): You can give us all the advisories in the world but give those which do not puzzle us or only make very clear how you "trick" us into believing you are giving it for free when all along it is a "camouflage" of another underhand strategy to get our attention but before we can even maximize or optimize the offer, it is gone/it has expired.
Globe/Smart/Those concerned: care to comment?
