Kate of United States and Becky of Great Britain- both swimmers - what a sight for elders and senior citizens!

One of the challenges of seniors and elderly citizens is to stay awake through the night! So through the night and into dawn, there this senior and elderly kept glued watching the Olympic Broadcasting service courtesy of Smart.

One of the sights that brought tears to my eyes at dawn for that matter was the win of a 15 year old gold medalist Kate and someone much older from Great Britain, Becky, bronze medalist. The audience cheered for all the winners but Becky's win is a tearjerker for us who are getting on with our ages. She makes us smile for a "fifteener" is just beginning her life with all the glory attached to someone who has attained her gold win at 15 - imagine 15 - as against someone double her age who may not have won gold but for our  purposes has achieved something inspiring and heart-tugging!

London 2012, Olympics 2012 gives so many sights for elders and senior citizens to behold. Thanks Olympic Broadcasting Service for sharing the updates thereby making us smile and cheer for both the winners and losers. Olympic games make the world one and declare all of mankind's desire for peace and unity under the umbrella of all kinds of sports!
