An elderly perspective on birthdays along the lines of how I wish

All of a sudden I came to the realization I am already 62. How did I reach this age without making it sure that I would consider myself emotionally, psychologically, financially and spiritually ready? This is one elderly perspective on birthdays along the lines of how I wish you would heed dear fellow bloggers and readers.

One viewpoint is take life's reminders and give it its due significance. There are many occurrences in our lives that seem to overlap and leave us incapable of analyzing it. Before it is too late perhaps we can consider this already at an early stage.

Another is the way we live and interact with other people. Always begin with family members and take comfort in the fact that the children are our best critics if we have guided them well. they become our angels in our moments of weakness and tribulations.

Then of course there is the reality of old age. An elderly person should gradually give more importance to the realities that truly matter  longer the superficial ones. Fellow elderly and senior citizens, do you agree?
