Before all others greet you although am sure my wishes are not the first, let it be said that this elderly and senior citizen is first a wife then a mom and she says today, May 12, 2013 is Mother's Day and greets fellow mothers all over the world HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
You know when you become a senior citizen in the Philippines it means a lady has reached 60 years old. We gathered in Hongkong you have to reach 65 to be considered a senior citizen. But when you are both a senior citizen and a mother, biologically or not, you have been given a special vocation in life - to nurture all the children God has given you. If in the journey of life they become assets in society you are not just pleased but honored that you can look up to the Maker with gratitude for you have become an instrument of co-creation.
Again, to all the mothers in the world, biologically or not, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
