Students are your best cooperators in changing the world. . .

National Service Training Program-Literacy Training Service students adopted room 20. They also clean the surroundings of the Education building even as they read their notes to understand the phases of Community Immersion in Sunflower, Kalasungay, Bukidnon.

This batch of second coursers who is presently taking Principles of Teaching 2 or undergoing Practice Teaching, to get their Certificate of Teaching, inspires us to go on.

Students are our best cooperators in changing the world!

Malaybalayan invites you t o visit Malaybalayan.blogspot.com

Up to now 30 plus blogs later, Malaybalayan wonders what is there in blogging that Malaybalayan decided to go into it. Then it dawned on her that it is the act of just writing away plus the hidden wish that she can invite the world to visit her blogspot. May she expect your visit soon?

Yet, there are moments when nothing just seems to work; blogs are "worlds away". Perhaps, when photos taken in Davao will be on "display" it will get the "juice of inspiration" keep coming. Let Malaybalayan pause for a much needed respite.

michael j. fox inspires us as always

Oprah's tv episode where Michael J. Fox was one of the visitors gave me goosebumps. Imagine he has Parkinson's disease yet instead of being beaten by it he found himself. Oprah read a portion of his book entitled "Always Looking Up" and from it came Michael's realization of himself: Michael J. Fox, the actor to Michael the actor to Michael, husband, father, optimist.

In a way, most of us are like Michael. When he was very healthy and had fame, wealth and the world, he felt he had it all. It was when his health began to fail and finally had Parkinson's that he looked inward and found the  things that truly matter: family and love and optimism. Like us, when things are up and going, we are on top of the world. Then, travails come, financial struggle, death of a loved one or becoming ill of some kind that we begin to really pause, reflect and go inward.

In a world where role models become scarce, Michael J. Fox becomes an inspiration. Michael J. Fox inspires me always. May your tribe increase!

My fifth child named MALAYBALAYAN

26th September of 2009
came like my gold mine
imagine a blogspot came to mind
even as i accept am blind.

Mind you I can see
but blogging is one foreign to me
To finally write articles in my blogspot
The feeling of hysteria comes closest.

Yet if you respond to my blogs
You're sure I'd have to brag
For a newfound friend took time
To read and post a comment just for me.

So here I go and wait for you
My blogs will keep coming
But if you respond it would be more fun
And worth the time of taking time.

Bye for now. . .
But am just a blog away. . .
Invite me to your world
As invite you to mine.
