To Moms, biologically, emotionally and psychologically, HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY!
What a long way moms have gone and back especially senior moms.
Being a senior-mom myself, let us reminisce a little: One scenario - We deliver the children one after the other and every time we do this, one half of our life is taken away from moms but with God's blessing we stay alive! Another scenario - We send them to good schools one after the other until college and what a feat every time one graduates college and is now working on his/her own! Another scenario - We stand by each of the children whatever problem comes their way and through it all, wrinkles and smiles and sometimes almost unbearable pain, we remain miraculously whole.
There is therefore so much celebration that should go with this day. I received mine very gently: Each of my children greeted me Happy Mom's Day and for those living nearby, ice cream and good food and loving presence.
We always remember, moms are there because children come into our lives and life is worth living for.
