Being deprived to blog for sometime because of "melancholia" of some sort, the verdict given to Jerry Sandusky, 45 out of 48 counts, child molestation being the main case against him, 450 year imprisonment - how does a senior citizen react to this? - how can you feel for someone, 88 years old (?), accused of molesting young boys for 15 years?
Then there is another case in Philadelphia of a catholic priest who also molested an altar boy? How do we get ready to react after Sandusky, a football coach, did what he did and on the other end, a catholic priest? The world is really unveiling the innermost secrets of men!
Joe Amendola, lead counsel of Sandusky, shown in CNN explains he is not surprised and that an appeal is forthcoming.
A case being legal is difficult to discuss but we can at least learn to a certain extent from what has happened so far, that we do have secrets which will haunt us someday or one day one way or the other. We will therefore reflect and pray that we have our own lives to ponder upon and not judge others. We have already enough to put our time on - just our own self!
