Prayers are our best defense in life's offense

Nothing ever happens in life that prayer cannot handle. Prayers are our best's defense in  life's offense. For us who are elderly and senior citizens this fact has been proven to be true whatever is your religious affiliation.

What is it with prayers that one can hold on to? It is interesting to note that in www.word.org in the words of Rev. Thompson he acknowledges prayers which can be defensive or offensive depending on what you pray for. So what is it with you? Defensive prayer because indeed we have to pray to defend ourselves from all the tribulations that befall each of us in any or all forms! Offensive prayer because we almost groan or shout to God to ask help because the need for being saved is too much to bear!

So we look into our hearts and ask: Am I praying to defend or offend? Certainly this alone is one major thought provoking issue we have a lifetime to contend with. This is what life is all about: to stay sane amidst the insanity of life all under the umbrella of prayers that without it, we all will go astray!
