Again the time for reflection seems to go farther away as the events seem to overcome us on a daily basis. As it were, one can hardly formulate the lessons learned based o one dilemma and wham! another seems to overrun its impact. This elder, elderly and senior citizen strongly feels this way and so she remains stuck up in limbo if only to catch her breath.
Then one good news reached her ears, that one fellow human being had the guts to nominate me as a possible finalist for Mindanao Blog Awards. This made my day and propelled me to open my humble blogspot and try to scribble a thought or so.
Allow us then the opportunity to share some insights about the fast-paced details of the present scenarios. One has something to do with the bullying that seems to haunt persons from various sectors. Bullying nowadays has become so overwhelming it is not just limited to physical violence but to cyber violence as well. We have become liable to every person in this earth and in due time answer to the Maker whatever hateful thing we have said and done. Another deal with the growing enmity between and among nations. This gap takes the form of suicide for the wrong reasons or plain hatred against one culture. Like Miss Philippines, Megan Young, our very first Miss Philippines who won as Miss World and what did one Indian employee said? that we, Filipinos smell of something that belongs to the toilet? This is inhumane and unfair. Well, Miss Young did not react so I am proud the others were the ones who vindicated Megan and if the news was true, this unkind writer lost her job. Please, never give this person a second chance until and unless she wakes up to the truth that we are all the same and equal as fellow sojourners in this one world.
For now, Peace fellow human beings. Regardless of age and status, we are brothers and sisters if we really look deep into our hearts.
